What To Listen To This Weekend

Secure by Stefflon Don

The latest is Stefflon Don's 'SECURE'. Other than its obvious up tempo beats and rolling hooks- 'SECURE' delivers heartfelt messaging. Taking on tasks that seem like they'd break her Stefflon proves she's stronger than people give her credit for in tracks like ''Lil Bitch" and "What You Want". Vulnerable moments are tiny glimpses in tracks like "Precious Heavy". The versatile storylines throughout the album give you songs to get thotty too, songs to scream in the shower and of course the party aux chord. -- SASHA

“Bite the Hand,” “Me & My Dog," and “Stay Down” by boygenius

I'm cheating and picking three songs, all from the new supergroup boygenius which is comprised of singer/songwriters Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Phoebe Bridgers. All three were released on the same day this week and make up half of the songs on their debut self-titled EP, due out Nov. 9 via Matador. Each song is led by a different person in the group, which is why it's so hard to pick just one. All three are incredibly strong songwriters with out of this world voices so with their forces combined it's just too much beauty that it feels like the world should probably just implode.-- JASMINE
